Day 42. After another weekend spent in the house, and a rainy one at that, I long for a “day off”. For a day or two where I can go somewhere peaceful, enjoy the scenery, relax as I see fit ,and not think about the Corona virus, social distancing and stay at home orders. Each day I tell myself that I am getting closer to that day; though I know that that day is truly months away. So in the meantime I go back in time to serene places which I have enjoyed in the past and imagine myself there. Its not the same as being there but it is the best I can do for now.
